Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Free Anonymous AI is operated by an independent team based in Melbourne, Australia. Privacy contact: support@freeanonymousai.com. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service, including the disclaimers and limitation of liability set out there; the Service and any outputs are provided on an “as is” basis, and your use of, and any reliance on, them is at your own risk.

2. What we collect

Prompts and content you submit (text, uploaded images, and voice input); basic technical data (IP, device, browser) for security and rate-limiting; for paid users, account and billing data (handled by our payment processor, not stored in full by us); cookies as described in the Cookie Policy.

Voice input: if you use the microphone, your speech is converted to text by your browser or a transcription service, and the resulting text is handled like any other prompt. We do not retain voice recordings.

3. How we use it

To provide the tools, route requests, prevent abuse, process payments, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information. We do not run our own AI models, so we do not train any model on your data ourselves. However, to produce a result your prompts are sent to third-party AI providers (see section 4) who process them under their own terms and may use submitted content to operate or improve their services, including model training. Because of this, please do not submit sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information.

4. Third-party AI providers

To generate outputs, your inputs are sent to one of several third-party AI model providers, chosen automatically per request for quality and reliability. These providers process your inputs under their own terms and privacy policies, and may retain or use them, including to train or improve their own models. We do not control those practices. Some providers may process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers and routing to respect regional rules where we can, but you should treat anything you submit as potentially seen by a third-party provider, so avoid sharing sensitive information.

5. Advertising

We show ads through Adsterra, which helps keep the Service free. Adsterra and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure those ads. Ads load by default, and you can turn the non-essential cookies off at any time by choosing Decline in our cookie banner (reopen it from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer). We do not share your AI prompts with advertisers.

6. International users (GDPR/UK)

If you're in the EU, UK, EEA or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards for any transfer, route your requests only to providers offering compliant data handling, and honor your GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability). Our lawful basis is performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in running and securing the Service; consent where required (e.g. ads cookies).

7. California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing". We do not sell personal information. To exercise rights, contact support@freeanonymousai.com.

8. Australian Privacy Principles

We handle personal information in line with the APPs and the Privacy Act 1988.

9. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No system is perfectly secure.

11. Children

The Service isn't directed at children under 16; we don't knowingly collect their data.

12. Your choices

You can use the free tier without an account. You can manage cookies via the consent banner.
